Lives & Communities transformed

What we start on the pitch

God continues on the sidelines

Coaching for Christ began in 2004 with a vision from God to use sport to spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Coaching for Christ now has approximately 40 coaches and volunteers from various backgrounds and churches, working together in unity for the Glory of God.

Coaching for Christ seeks to equip and reach people for Christ through sport, so that lives and communities are transformed through Christ.

On the pitch

The Coaching For Christ Youth Academy started in 2004 in Ahoghill, Ballymena.   As a Club we have been on an incredible journey, and we have now grown to 400 players in different age groups from U5 to U18 in our social, development and league teams

Testimonials

“We know of children who have professed faith in Christ through such contact and of homes that have been changed through this ministry. Coaching For Christ also benefits the church fellowship too as it mobilises people and gives them oppurtunity to use their gifts and talents for the Lord.”

Pastor Jim Magill

“I have worked with CFC for a number of years now. Their ministry has brought so much joy and hope to the children of El Shaddai and the surrounding community and has inspired them to live their lives for God. CFC has been instrumental in helping us train and equip local coaches so that we can continue a football ministry in this area based on their template.”

“CFC coming to Cordoba was a tremendous experience, helping us to reach into the community and the surrounding towns of Los Pedroches Valley. The quality of coaching and professionalism was recognised by both the presidents of the Football Clubs that CFC worked with and the Sports Director of the Local Council… In my 28 years of experience in working with volunteers, they have been one of the best teams to work with and as a result we look forward to working together in the future.”
